This seemed appropriate since I’ve been drinking a lot of orange juice lately in attempts to combat a cold I seem to be developing. Sorry oranges, but you are too delicious.

Ohhh! How I long to visit Hogwarts theme park when it’s open. <3
Fruta Bomba is currently my favorite loose leaf green tea, which can be found at Teavana.com. As a matter of fact, I just finished drinking a delicious mug about 5 minutes ago.
It’s described as being a mixture of Green tea as well as African Rooibos, and there are little pieces of papaya and peach in there. Yummm. It’s not overwhelmingly fruity - it has a hint of tropical fruity flavor, but it still remains a tea at heart. That’s important to me because I really hate when my tea tries to be something it’s not.
I’ve been into collecting different shades of nail polish lately. I just painted my nails “Raspberry Sorbetto” by Borghese (shown above). It’s a pretty & bright shade of pink. I got it for 2 dollars at Big Lots. Score! :)
I’ve never really been the type of girl who was naturally blessed with great nails - they are usually kept short because when they grow out they are very weak and bendable. If I ever wanted long nails - I’d have to go to a salon to get acrylics put on, which ultimately seemed to make my real nails way worse in the long run. Well, I’m on a mission to fix my nail problem and so far it’s been working.
My solution to having crappy nails:
Also, it’s good to put lotion on throughout the day, too. Anything to hydrate your nails is a good thing especially in the winter months. I really need to work on pushing back my cuticles more effectively - but a trick is to soak your hands in warm water for about 10 minutes and then work on the cuticles. Two products that I heard work really well are Creative Nail Design Cuticle Remover and Posche’s AHA Cuticle Therapy, but I’ve yet to try them out.
I’ve been doing all of this for about 3 weeks now maybe, and my nails have grown a bit without breaking at all. I guess the key is to just have patience and keep up with the routine.
Oh, and don’t shake your nail polish to “mix it up” before you paint. This causes air bubbles and we wouldn’t want that now, would we?
For my first post, I will share with you Sonya the Slow Loris enjoying some tickles. Sooo cute!
